Home version 1.00 now available to beta testers, introduces Clubs
Finally! After years of waiting, looks like Home is finally to release to the masses. Version 1.00 of the Home client has been released to beta testers. The new Home moves from the "Game" section of the XMB to the more appropriate "PlayStation Network" area.

David Jaffe's new game coming 2010

On Jaffe's blog, he recently mentioned that he was going to Sony to talk about "the new game". While he wouldn't talk specifically about when gamers could expect to see it, he did mention 2010 as a guesstimate.

First week Mirror's Edge sales are bad [EU]
The sales of the new EA DICE shooter Mirror's Edge are very bad. The game sales (first week sales) in Europe are round the 30,000 and not more.
European Store Update - 20/11
The Playstation Store has now been updated and includes the highly anticipated Challenge Rooms Game Pack for Bioshock.
Also this week is a demo for the excellent Loco Roco 2 and a full PSP version of Sim City 2000. Nice.

Did they drop the ball by not giving Resistance 2 a World wide release
Theepicne writes: So here I am sitting here on the 20th of November 2008, Still waiting for Resistance 2 to drop in Europe. The game has been out in North America for two whole weeks now competing along side Gears Of War 2 for the Xbox 360. But what grinds my gears is that considering Sony and Insomniac wanted to come out on the same week as Gears 2, wouldn't it have been more effective to have a world wide release?

Boy Rushed to Hospital with Playstation Addiction
Italian medics diagnosed a 13-year-old boy with Playstation addiction after his desperate father rushed him to hospital.
At first doctors at southern Italy's Lecce hospital thought Lorenzo Amato was suffering from a stroke or a severe brain disorder.
The teenager couldn't speak and didn't seem to understand anything going on around him. Then doctors discovered he'd just finished a marathon session on his new Playstation.

Sony confirms 33 additional titles for Ad-Hoc Party support
Sony announced today that it has verified a number of additional PSP titles as being compliant with Ad-Hoc Party for PlayStation Portable. Included in the bunch are Tekken Dark Resurrection and a variety of Gundam games. The company also announced that 90,000 PS3 owners have downloaded the beta application since its release two weeks ago.
Yellow Dog Linux for PS3 Updated
Yellow Dog Linux v6.1 offers an updated Firefox and OpenOffice.org, a vastly improved graphical wireless configuration tool, and the introduction of ps3vram functionality which enables use of PS3 video RAM for temporary storage or swap."
This is the first release of Yellow Dog Linux by new owners, Fixstars. Fixstars acquired Terra Soft Solutions (and their Yellow Dog Linux product) last month.
